Muslim Ultra is engineered from the ground up as a privacy-first, tracker-free spiritual companion. We believe your worship, location, and queries are sacred and belong exclusively to you.
Muslim Ultra contains zero third-party trackers, zero advertising SDKs, and zero crash telemetry collectors (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook SDK). Your usage data is never packaged, sold, or shared with data brokers.
2. Location & Prayer Time Calculation
To calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction, Muslim Ultra requires access to your device's geographical coordinates:
- 100% On-Device Processing: All astronomical solar algorithms and Qibla trigonometry calculations execute locally on your physical device.
- Zero Location Logging: Your exact GPS coordinates and location history are never transmitted to our servers or stored in remote databases.
3. Muslim AI (AI Assistant)
When you ask questions in the Muslim AI assistant:
- Encrypted Transport: Questions are securely transmitted over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 to our edge gateway.
- Corpus Grounding: Inquiries are matched against authentic Islamic sources (Quran, Sahih Hadith, and scholarly texts).
- 14-Day Ephemeral Cache: To protect system integrity and enforce fair usage rate limits, question hashes and responses are temporarily cached in an encrypted cache for up to 14 days, after which they are automatically purged.
- No Identity Association: Queries are processed under anonymous sessions and are not linked to your personal identity or email.
- AI Provider Terms & Data Notice: We utilize official developer APIs (including Google Gemini API). Under standard API terms, data processed through automated API endpoints is subject to the respective provider's developer data policies. While we do not associate queries with personal user identities, you should not submit personally identifiable information (PII), confidential personal details, or sensitive private data in the chat interface.
4. Quran Audio & Font Assets
To deliver offline-first audio recitation and beautiful Arabic calligraphy typography:
- Audio files are fetched directly from public CDN endpoints (such as EveryAyah) and cached locally on your device for offline playback.
- Uthmani font bundles are bundled within the app or downloaded once, generating no behavioral tracking footprint.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because Muslim Ultra operates with local storage for your bookmarks, streaks, notes, and preferences, all personal progress data resides solely on your physical device. You can erase all app data at any time through your device application settings.
